Yes, there are going to be rules and these rules are going to be upheld.
- We are carrying a zero tolerance policy against the toxic culture that has become “dog training” on the different venues like reddit and facebook.
- If people want to act like a child, then expect to be treated like one.
- We don’t demand respect but it takes zero effort to be courteous.
- All are welcome from all around the world. There are different languages and should support your own native language. We will figure this out as we go with translators and such. But bear in mind – Rule 1.
- Dog trainers are welcome with a few rules.
- Dog trainers have to tell us that you are a trainer – if not, you’re putting up red flags for a reason. Announce what you practice – PR, PP, balanced or other.
- If you grandstand or try to stick yourself on a pedestal, you will be permanently banned. Zero tolerance.
- There is a group specific to dog trainers only to learn a different way of working with dogs. Owners will not be allowed to participate.
- We have a video host that will only be used by trainers that are part of the system. End users will not be allow to upload any resources unless there is a reason for it. There will not be any censorship like on youtube – nor will there be any abuse allowed. If you start getting nasty, you will lose all rights to the entire system.
- Leave everything “dog training” at the door – do NOT bring your treat, tools, protocols, quadrants or anything recommending “positive reinforcement”, “purely positive” or balanced trainers.
- Personal attacks on other dog owners or staff will be dealt with accordingly – up to and including permanent removal from the site.
- Censorship will NOT be happening here. But post within reason when it comes to dogs.
